A special benefit of Irish citizenship is the right to live and work in the United Kingdom without a visa under the Common Travel Area (CTA). Following the UK’s departure from the EU, this right is not automatically available to citizens of other EU countries.
As an Irish citizen, you can freely live, work, and travel throughout the United Kingdom (comprising England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland) without needing a visa.
